About

The Camp is a unique site where the clock is often turned back, usually to the 1940s but not always.  Built as a searchlight battery unit in 1939, the Camp is situated on the outskirts of Ramsey and holds events all year round, most famously in August when the 10 acre site attracts thousands of visitors to the Ramsey 1940s weekend. But there's far more to the Camp.  The grounds, NAAFI, parade of shops and Drill Hall are all maintained and renovated by a band of dedicated volunteers and are open for hire all year round to private, community and commercial parties.
